Pepelu: “The spectacle was not what LaLiga deserves"

Valencia CF midfielder Pepelu assessed the defeat against Getafe CF on LaLiga Matchday 16.

“I don't like that they treat us like that. We have honest players and the intensity of a game makes you excited, but when from the first minute they treat you with that arrogance, it is difficult to play a game. We are focused and have a lot of pressure on us; I imagine that the referee is too, but we all have to be equal on the pitch and today the tone was not appropriate.”
